UC Adds Commitment From Three-Star 2024 Safety Quinton Price
CINCINNATI — The UC football team landed another piece in the 2024 class after a commitment from three-star Taft (Ohio) safety Quinton Price.
According to 247Sports, Price is the 122nd-ranked safety nationally and the 49th-ranked player in Ohio. He held six other offers from Ohio, Akron, Miami (OH), Syracuse, Kentucky, and West Virginia.
Cincinnati's 2024 class now holds 19 commits, five each from Ohio/Georgia to lead all other states.
Price is a lanky cornerback with big strides at 6-foot-3, 172 pounds. He's listed as a safety on 247Sports but mostly plays along the boundary at outside cornerback. Those strides help him latch onto receivers off their release and he has punch out on his mind at all times when pursuing players in the open field.
Price fell about 60 spots in the 247Sports safety rankings since earning an offer from UC at the end of 2022.
