Memphis TV sportscaster slams Deion Sanders over Rose Bowl theft

In this story:
Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are regathering after a 28-16 loss to No. 23 UCLA on Saturday. It's what happened after the game that is still making headlines from the Rose Bowl. Several CU players and coaches had jewelry and valuables stolen while the game was in progress, which has since prompted an investigation by Pasadena Police.
There was a media personality who took issue with the way Sanders dealt with the incident. Marcus "Doc" Holliday from Action News 5 in Memphis sent a message to Coach Prime on X, asking why his response from the locker room robbery was different compared to an instance during his time at Jackson State.
"I remember when you went off when you were coaching at Jackson State," Holliday said. "When you said somebody stole all your stuff out of the coaches locker room. You pretty much lambasted the university... lambasted the city... How could that happen? Seemed to be pretty P'ed off and seemed to be going at the school and the university pretty hard... and the football program pretty hard at Jackson State.
My brother move in with your life I have and I'm to BLESSED to be stressed with yesterday's inconsistencies. You're talking about 2 whole different circumstances. God bless u because he's sure blessing me. 🙏🏾 https://t.co/tT71P5E5j6

"According to reports the same thing just happened at the Rose Bowl when y'all were playing UCLA. So, we really need to see that same kind of energy and same kind of outrage that you were showing when you were at Jackson State."
Holliday is making reference to a JSU football game from 2021 where another robbery occurred. Sanders called out the culprits in the incident. He also responded to Holliday with a reply on X.
"I'm too BLESSED to be stressed with yesterday's inconsistencies. You're talking about 2 whole different circumstances," Sanders said.
Coach Prime called on the NCAA to do something about the theft at the Rose Bowl during his weekly press conference.
BuffsBeat was briefed by Pasadena Police Chief Gene Harris via email about the incident who said, "The investigation is in the early stages and is ongoing." Nothing further was provided by PPD or UCLA athletics. Chip Kelly said he felt 'Awful' for Sanders and the Buffs.
Colorado faces No. 16 Oregon State at Folsom Field on Saturday.
