Coach Prime had the sports world spun up when he said there would be an "Eli" situation if Shedeur Sanders or Travis Hunter were drafted by a non-preferred team next year. While it seems crazy on the surface, there is nobody who knows the NFL better and can call the shots like Deion Sanders.

Colorado's "Grown" QB is noted as one of the best in this year's NFL Draft class. Add a full year with Buffs offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur and his draft stock will likely be cemented at the top. Shedeur is ready for the next level, which became apparent during last week's trip to the Caribbean. There were several times he was throwing, including on the tarmac before coming home.

Where he ends up going is now down to non-cold weather cities, which left ESPN analyst Ryan Clark to speculate but he has one team in mind. On The Pivot podcast, Clark says it's Dallas all the way. He believe Dak Prescott's days at numbered and Shedeur will be the new face of "America's Team." Not farfetched considering Jerry Jones said he would love to have Shilo and Shedeur with the Cowboys at this year's NFL Honors.

"@DeionSanders has a short list of teams he’d allow his son to play for, & I’d bet good money that the Cowboys are at the top of that list. Dak could leave for big time money in next year’s free agency, & Shedeur Sanders could replace him in a return home to lead America’s team. His father built part of his legend wearing the star on his helmet. Why not run it back? The Jones, Sanders legacy continues! Think about it," wrote Clark on X."

The 2025 NFL Draft might be over a year away, but there will be a lot of hype for a second coming of Sanders in Dallas. It would be the latest example of the "Prime Effect at the next level. Stay tuned on how it all could shake out.
