Rico Powers Announces Return To Jackson State For 2024 Season
Jackson State wide receiver Rico Powers has withdrawn his name from the transfer portal and will return for the 2024 season. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining for the Tigers.
Over two seasons at Jackson State, Powers recorded 49 receptions for 593 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns. He led the Tigers in receiving yards in the first three games of last season, including a career-high 119 yards against Florida A&M.
Powers started his career at South Carolina, signing with the Gamecocks as a four-star prospect in the class of 2020. He saw action in 11 games at South Carolina, recording 31 receiving yards. He was ranked the No. 304 overall prospect and No. 51 wide receiver in the country.

3-Star WR John Cineas Signs With West Georgia
Three-star wide receiver John Cineas has officially signed with West Georgia. He signed with the Wolves over offers from Louisville, Toledo, Cincinnati, Liberty, and multiple other FBS programs.
Cineas is the No. 182 wide receiver and No. 156 player in Georgia, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound wide receiver is from Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia.
Cineas finished his senior season with 50 receptions for 1,112 receiving yards and nine receiving touchdowns. He earned second-team All-State and first-team All-Region honors. He had a breakout junior season with 450 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns.

North Dakota State OL Jalen Sundell Accepts Invite To NFL Combine
Former North Dakota State offensive lineman Jalen Sundell received an invite to the NFL Scouting Combine. He is the 18th player in school history to participate in the event. It will be the seventh consecutive year that the Bison will be represented at the combine.
Sundell earned FCS All-American honors from multiple publications after starting 15 games at left tackle. Over five seasons, Sundell saw action in 57 games and started 40 consecutive games for the Bison. He earned Freshman All-American honors in 2019.
Sundell is looking to become the 14th North Dakota State player to be selected in the NFL Draft since 2014. He was the 15th player in program history to participate in the East-West Shrine Bowl last week. The NFL Scouting Combine is scheduled for Feb. 29 through March 3 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Jalen Sundell is on the path to join five former NDSU offensive linemen playing in the NFL. The Bison have had a lineman drafted each of the past three years.

2024 RB Zion Dobson Signs With North Carolina Central
Running back Zion Dobson officially signed with North Carolina Central. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound running back is from Hampton County High School in Hampton, South Carolina.
Dobson was named the 2023 Gatorade South Carolina Player of the Year, becoming the first player in his school's history to win the award. He finished his senior season with 2,629 rushing yards and 40 rushing touchdowns, leading Hampton to the semifinals of the 2A state playoffs.
Over his high school career, Dobson recorded 4,189 rushing yards and 57 rushing touchdowns. He earned first-team All-State honors and was a finalist for the state's Mr. Football award as a junior.
