3-star ATH Cole Owens commits to UC Davis
Three-star athlete Cole Owens announced his commitment to UC Davis on Friday. He committed to the Aggies over offers from Portland State, Sacramento State, and Army.
The 6-foot, 180-pound athlete is from Casa Roble Fundamental High School in Orangevale, California. Owens is the No. 259 player in California and No. 246 athlete in the class of 2024, according to 247Sports.
Owens earned second-team MaxPreps All Sac-Joaquin Section honors last season. He finished his junior season with 52 receptions for 1,320 receiving yards and 18 receiving touchdowns.
The 2024 prospect exploded onto the scene as a sophomore, totaling 36 receptions for 786 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns.
Following Owens' commitment, the Aggies have multiple three-star commits in the 2024 class. Three-star EDGE Isaiah Sanders and three-star linebacker Jackson Sievers headline the 2024 class for UC Davis.
