Georgia Teasing Black Jerseys on Social Media Preseason Countdown?

The Georgia Bulldogs social media team just posted a rather interesting photo counting down the days to the start of the 2024 season.

The Georgia Bulldogs social media team just posted a rather interesting photo counting down the days to the start of the 2024 season.

The countdown for 2024 is underway as fans eagerly await the return of college football. With the new season just over 150 days away, the Georgia Bulldogs social media team posted a photo to remind fans just how many more days they have to wait. Except, the photo that was posted featured a rather interesting jersey combination.

The uniform in question is, of course, the fan-favorite black jersey that the Bulldogs wear on special occasions. Despite the uniform combo being a fan favorite amongst fans and recruits, Georgia has not worn the uniforms in-game since the 2020 season. 

 

Could the Bulldogs’ post be an allusion to a return of the beloved black jerseys this fall? Or could this be just another one of the many April Fools pranks the social media team has pulled over the years? Either way, the anticipation for the Dawgs 2024 season will only grow from here on out.
