Could Carson Beck Become the Greatest Georgia Quarterback of All Time?

Could Carson Beck become the best Georgia quarterback of all time when the 2024 season comes to a close?

When the 2022 college football season came to a close, Stetson Bennett made his departure from the Georgia Bulldogs as the most decorated players in the team’s storied history and was widely renowned as the greatest Bulldog quarterback of all time. Now, just two seasons later, Carson Beck may have the chance to cement his legacy as “The Goat”. 

 

Beck took over the Bulldogs’ offense during the 2023 season here he quickly established himself as one of the nation’s premier quarterbacksthrowing for 3,941 yards, 24 touchdowns, and finished with the highest single-season completion percentage by any Georgia quarterback. His strong 2023 season has led him to be the odds-on favorite to take home the Heisman trophy in 2024 and could even become the first player taken in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Should Beck lead the Bulldogs to yet another national title, and should he be able to be awarded the Heisman trophy and a number one overall selection. Fans will be hard-pressed to not label Carson Beck as the greatest Georgia quarterback of all time.
