Since the end of the spring game last Saturday, Georgia Tech has had a few departures on the team. Running back Antonio Martin, defensive end Grey Carroll, linebacker Khatavian Franks, and tight end Ben Postman have all entered the portal since last Saturday. Also, defensive back/running back Kaleb Edwards medically retired.

Another Yellow Jacket opted for the portal on Friday night and it was defensive tackle, K.J. Miles. Miles was one of the highest-rated members of the 2022 class and was looked at as a potential building block for the future on the defensive line.

Miles was not able to crack the rotation last season and did not record any statistics. The duo of Daquan Douse and Makius Scott emerged for Georgia Tech last season and other guys like Zeek Biggers, Jason Moore, and Clemson transfer Etinosa Reuben are going to be right behind those other two.

Georgia Tech has taken one transfer since the portal opened back up and that is Princeton O-lineman Connor Scaglione.

Miles is talented and could be developed into a solid player at the Power Five level wherever he lands.
