How to Watch Indiana Basketball Against Kennesaw State Friday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana wraps up nonconference play by hosting Kennesaw State Friday at Assembly Hall.

Coach Mike Woodson and the Hoosiers had just over a week off for Christmas break after defeating North Alabama 83-66 on Dec. 21. 

On the other side, Kennesaw State most recently lost 79-70 at UNC-Asheville, but is off to a 9-4 record after being picked second in the Atlantic Sun preseason media poll.

Meet the coaches

  • Antoine Pettway, Kennesaw State: Pettway is in his first season at Kennesaw State with a 9-4 record. He replaced Amir Abdur-Rahim, who led the Owls to a program-record 26 wins last year. Prior to Kennesaw State, Pettway was an assistant coach at Alabama under head coaches Anthony Grant, Avery Johnson and Nate Oats. As a player, Pettway played 126 games with 43 starts at Alabama from 2000-04, averaging 10.9 points in his career.
  • Mike Woodson, Indiana: Woodson is in his third season at Indiana with a 53-29 overall record and a 23-19 mark in regular season Big Ten play. Woodson has NBA head coaching experience with the Atlanta Hawks from 2004-10 and the New York Knicks from 2012-14. Woodson played at Indiana University from 1976-80, and was named the Big Ten's Most Valuable Player as a senior under coach Bob Knight.
