11:25 p.m. — Jalen Hood-Schifino gets a path to the basket, but his shot gets blocked by Kris Murray. He's fouled right away and he makes both. They foul Jalen Hood-Schifino intentionally and he makes two. Indiana fouls Payton Sandfort and he makes them both, 91-88. They intentionally foul Trey Galloway with 3.9 seconds left. He makes the first and tries to miss intentionally but doesn't hit the rim. Iowa wins 91-89.

11:20 p.m. — Miller Kopp forces a jump ball, but it's an Iowa possession. Fran McCaffery calls timeout. There's 27.2 seconds left, and just 4.6 seconds on the shot clock. Indiana forces a shot clock violation and will get a possession with 22.6 seconds to go.

11:19 p.m — Things are getting testy here and Iowa coach Fran McCaffery makes his annual walk toward the Indiana bench. He had to be restrained. Filip Rebraca gets his fifth foul, and Trayce makes one of of two. 87-86.

11:13 p.m. — Indiana wasting some offensive possessions here, and Iowa has re-grabbed the lead. Trayce Jackson makes a free throw and it's 87-85.

11:04 p.m. — Jalen Hood-Schifino picks up his fourth foul just before the under-4 timeout. Connor McCaffery will be headed to the line for two shots. Indiana leads 84-78 with 3:29 to go. Trayce Jackson-Davis has 28 points and has made all six free throws.

10:59 p.m. — A really nice run there by Indiana, scoring on three straight possessions to get back ahead 80-76. Baskets by Trey Galloway, Miller Kopp and Tamar Bates, with a couple of nice passes from Trayce Jackson-Davis.

10:52 p.m. — We're at the under-8 timeout now and Iowa leads 75-72. Indiana's defense way too soft. Iowa is shooting 63.6 percent from the field in the second half. Kris Murray with 14 second-half points.

10:38 p.m. — And now Iowa has taken the lead. Jordan Geronimo, for some reason, leaves Kris Murray to help and Murray nails a three. Geronimo misses on the other end and then Iowa center Filip Rebraca scores and is fouled. Iowa leads 63-61,

10:32 p.m. — Down to a four-point game now at 57-53. Two straight missed threes for Indiana from Tamar Bates and Miller Kopp. Those guys need to deliver. Mike Woodson calls timeout at the 13:59 mark.

10:26 p.m. — Trayce Jackson-Davis gets fouled by Kris Murray, that's his third, and he makes both free throws. He's playing through the pain. Indiana leads 57-46,

10:21 p.m. — Clif Marshall is working a lot with Trayce Jackson-Davis, trying to get him stretched out after the half. Saw some wincing. Let's see how long he can go here. Very concerning.

10:17 p.m. — Miller Kopp took only one shot in the first half and Tamar Bates only took two. Indiana is going to need more out of them offensively with Race Thompson out. A lot falls on Malik Reneau now, too. Will we see Logan Duncomb?

HALFTIME: Stats of note. Trayce Jackson-Davis leads the Hoosiers with 14 points. Jalen Hood-Schifino has 11 with three three-pointers and Race Thompson had nine points before leaving with a knee injury. Indiana shot 65.5 percent from the floor (19-for-29).

10:05 p.m. — Indiana ends the half on a high note, getting a three-point play from Trayce Jackson-Davis and a follow-up from Jordan Geronimo to stretch the lead back to 10. Halftime and it's 50-40. A fifty-burger for the Hoosiers is a nice sign. Liked the 21-point lead better than 10 though.

10:02 p.m. — Jordan Geronimo seems lost out on the floor. Picks up a technical and gets burned on the defensive end, then makes a bad pass. It's down to a five-point lead now at 45-40.

9:49 p.m. — There's a battle for a loose ball and Race Thompson goes down awkwardly. He knee bent funny. He had to be helped off the court and went straight to the locker room with the help of two teammates.

9:37 p.m. — Indiana's 21-point lead is down to 12 after a Tony Perkins three-point play. It's 35-23 now with 8:21 to go. ... And now it's down to nine. Jeez.

9:33 p.m. — Indiana is an amazing 11-for-14 from the field so far, a whopping 78.6 percent. They're 3-for-4 from three.

9:29 p.m. — If you had 7 minutes and 51 seconds in the Fran McCaffery technical foul pool, you're a winner. Iowa 's coach going ballistic.

9:27 p.m. — Tamar Bates hits a three and Miller Kopp scores after a steal and its 28-7 not even seven minutes into the game. First subs for Indiana as Trey Galloway and Malik Reneua check in.

9:25 p.m. — Indiana is simply having its way against Iowa inside. Three straight dunks has the Hoosiers up 23-4. What a start.

9:16 p.m. — Jalen Hood-Schifino hits back-to-back threes and the Hoosiers are suddenly up 11-4. It's a great sign for a team that's had a lot of slow starts late and hasn't played a game in 13 days.

9:11 p.m. — Indiana goes inside to Trayce Jackson-Davis on their first possession and he scores and was fouled. Race Thompson scores inside as well, and it's 5-2 Hoosiers out of the gate.

9 p.m. — Trayce Jackson-Davis is back for the Hoosiers. He'll start up from with Race Thompson. Miller Kopp is at the other forward spot and Jalen Hood-Schifino is at the point. Tamar Bates gets his first start of the year at the the two-guard.
