WATCH: Trayce Jackson-Davis Scores First Bucket of Indiana vs. Xavier

Indiana forward Race Thompson connected with Trayce Jackson-Davis down low for the first points of Friday night's matchup with Xavier.

CINCINNATI, Ohio – Mike Woodson calls this "buddy ball."

Race Thompson backed down his defender in the paint, and it looked like he might take a shot of his own. But as Xavier center Jack Nunge collapsed, Thompson found an open Trayce Jackson-Davis open underneath the basket. Jackson-Davis finished on the left side to score the first points of the game.
