The Kansas Jayhawks head back out on the road, looking to avoid a road loss in the third straight week in Big 12 play. But they head to one of the better Big 12 environments when they tip off in Ames, IA, taking on the Iowa State Cyclones. It's a huge game between two teams trying to avoid falling back in the Big 12 conference race.

Kansas fell in the polls this week, coming in at 7 in the AP Poll and 8 in the Coaches Poll. Iowa State climbed up in the polls thanks to their strong start in conference play, including a win over the TCU Horned Frogs on the road without their leading scorer.

The Jayhawks lead the all-time series 189-67, including a 28-23 record in Hilton Coliseum. They have won eight of the last nine in the series, but the Cyclones won the last meeting in Ames by a 15-point margin.
