Game Primer: BYU Cougars at Kansas Jayhawks Basketball
The Kansas Jayhawks have two very winnable games left at home to go along with two monster games on the road to end the season. Tonight is the first game at home, as they host the BYU Cougars in the first matchup between the two teams in Big 12 Conference play.
Kansas bounced back up to #7 in the AP Poll and #9 in the Coaches Poll after their blowout victory over Texas on Saturday. BYU dropped out of the polls after beating a ranked Baylor squad at home and losing to Kansas State on the road. They are still receiving votes in both polls.
The series between these two teams is extremely limited, as the Jayhawks lead the all-time series 4-1, including winning the only meeting in Allen Fieldhouse. The only BYU win came in Provo back in 1960.
