The Kansas Jayhawks got back to their winning ways while being severely shorthanded on Monday, but Joseph Yesufu excelled in his starting role to help spark Kansas to a dominant victory over the Texas Southern Tigers. Up next is the next iteration of the Big 12-Big East Battle, with the Seton Hall Pirates coming to town.

The Pirates are in their first season under NCAA Cinderella coach Shaheen Holloway, but the transition hasn't been the cleanest. Seton Hall has struggled offensively and are coming off back to back losses to Oklahoma and Siena. The defense is playing well though, and they seem to do everything well except sending their opponents to the line and giving up offensive boards.

Kansas dropped to #9 in both polls this week after their loss to Tennessee. Seton Hall is unranked.

Kansas leads the all-time series between these two programs 2-1, but this is the first meeting in Lawrence. The last meeting between these two teams was in the second round of the 2018 tournament, which Kansas won 83-79 on their run to the Final Four.
