The Kansas Jayhawks make their debut in the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City today, and it's against a recent opponent, the West Virginia Mountaineers. With these two teams playing each other just 12 days ago, not a lot has changed. This game may not actually have many tournament implications, but as Bill Self always says: "If you are going to play, you might as well win."

Kansas comes into the game ranked #3 in the AP Poll and #4 in the Coaches Poll. They are the #1 seed in the Big 12 Tournament. West Virginia is unranked but receiving votes in both polls. They are the #8 seed in the Big 12 Tournament.

Kansas leads the all-time series 20-6, including a perfect 4-0 record in the Big 12 Championship Tournament. All of those games have come in the T-Mobile Center.
