The Kansas Jayhawks stayed undefeated in Allen Fieldhouse in a game that was dominant (almost entirely) start to finish. The Texas Longhorns were looking to get rolling against the state of Kansas, coming off a victory over the Kansas State Wildcats earlier this week.

Kansas had other ideas, fresh off their come-from-behind victory over the Oklahoma Sooners in Norman last week. The 9th-ranked Jayhawks did not have a mid-week game, and it turned into a great performance that made picking something "ugly" very difficult.

The Good

The starting lineup all had over 10 points on the night showing dominance as a squad on the court all night long. Every player has big moments in this game and that was a key part of the success for Kansas. They also beat the Longhorns out in assists and rebounds which was a huge part of the overall success this team had on the night. K.J. Adams had a great night as he shot very well and nearly completed a double-double on the night. He was by far the consistent force for the Jayhawks.

The Bad

This team did turn the ball over a bit more than you'd hope as they were in the double digits. Although this didn't play a factor in the end result it would help if they could clean this category up just a bit before heading into their next test.

The Ugly

This team was yet again without star guard and superstar prospect Kevin McCullar Jr. The guard has been battling injuries throughout the season and the Jayhawks definitely miss the defensive force in McCullar as well as his offensive firepower. He is one of the most complete guards in the nation so to get him back would be HUGE.

The Jayhawks will play again on Tuesday to close out their February slate before heading into March.
