Our staff gets together to tell you what is going to happen in today's game.

Game 1 of the Battle 4 Atlantis was about as stressful as you can imagine for the Kansas Jayhawks, who struggled for long stretches against the NC State Wolfpack before finally pulling away for the win. But today's opponent is a Wisconsin Badgers team that won after only scoring 43 points yesterday.

Can the Jayhawks keep this game from turning into a complete slog? Will someone other than Jalen Wilson and Gradey Dick step up to score big in this game? Will Wisconsin finally find some offense?

The Kansas Jayhawks edged out the NC State Wolfpack with a tremendous performance from Gradey Dick scoring 25 points and shooting 6-out-of 12 from the three-point line. If fans of college basketball are not aware of his name they will sooner rather than later with these types of performances. It is a quick turnaround for the Jayhawks as they will take on Wisconsin. The Badgers are 4-0 but are only averaging 61 points per game. Senior forward Tyler Wahl is the only player averaging double-digit points with 11.8 per game. Now one thing the Wisconsin team is good at is getting rebounds. Unfortunately for the Badgers, the Jayhawks have just flat-out been playing good basketball and are getting points from their scorers. I expect the Jayhawks to manage this game and walk away with a win.

I didn’t watch Wisconsin and I’m glad I didn’t based on the score. There’s no analyzing here. They scored 43 and won which is weird because this is college basketball and not middle school hoops. Anyway, Kansas will score way more than that and Kansas will win this game and play in the championship.

Kansas 70, Wisconsin 43.

The Jayhawks have been living on the edge this season, doing just enough to win, but not letting their fans feel comfortable while doing it. This is expected to be a low scoring game, mainly because of how good the Wisconsin defense is supposed to be. But the Badgers haven't played a good offense yet this season, and Kansas has already faced some pretty good defenses.

I'm not worried about whether Kansas can win this game, because the defense is good enough to stop an abysmal Wisconsin offensive attack. I'm more worried about being bored, because if Kansas struggles to score for long stretches in this one, then I see a lot of frustrations and people wanting to turn this one off. Kansas rolls in this one, and hopefully someone other than Jalen Wilson and Gradey Dick step up to be a big scorer in this one.

Kansas 72, Wisconsin 61.
