College Football Games to Watch, Week 7

In this story:
It’s week seven in college football, and after a weekend of surprises and end of game mayhem, we look for more this weekend. As always, we give you some options to most easily navigate the weekend of college football on TV.
8 Oregon at 7 Washington, 2:30 PM, ABC
We know you’ll be watching Kansas/Oklahoma State at this time, but I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t include the weekend’s biggest game. Both teams are 5-0 and 2-0 in conference. Oregon is averaging 51 points per game while Washington is averaging 46 so this one should be a high scoring affair. The over/under is 67.5 and for some reason that seems low to me.
Kansas State at Texas Tech, 6:00 PM, FS1
K-State needs this one. An entire fanbase could turn on them if they don’t, as we already saw that start a bit with Will Howard’s performance last week against Okie State. Texas Tech is looking more like the team we thought they’d be when the season started, but beating Baylor isn’t exactly the feat it used to be. If you’re too lazy to turn the channel after the Kansas game or are just a Big XII fan, this is the game for you.
10 USC at 21 Notre Dame, 6:30 PM, NBC
Undefeated USC needed overtime to beat Arizona on the weekend and Notre Dame is coming off a loss to Louisville so this game has lost some of the luster that it had even a few weeks ago. But still, this is the marquee game in the evening slate. Plus, any chance to see Caleb Williams is always a good reason to plop yourself in front of a TV and get comfortable.
25 Miami and 12 North Carolina, 6:30 PM, ABC
If you get bored with the games above, you can always switch over to ABC for more top 25 action and perhaps you’ll see something you’ve never seen before. Who knows? Miami is coming off that catastrophic loss to Georgia Tech so you know that they’ll be fired up to make amends for the ridiculous decision to not kneel when they take on the undefeated Tarheels. It should be interesting regardless.
18 UCLA at 15 Oregon State, 7:00 PM, Fox
And then there is always more late Pac-12 action to take you deep into the night. The final conference matchup between the Bruins and Beavers is a battle of ranked teams. UCLA is coming off a win against Washington State, the only team to defeat Oregon State.
A list of other games you might consider checking out as well: West Virginia at Houston (Thursday at 6pm on FS1), Tulane at Memphis (Friday at 6pm on ESPN), Arkansas at #11 Alabama (Saturday at 11am on ESPN), Iowa State at Cincinnati (Saturday at 11am on FS1)
