The Kansas Jayhawks are tied for third in the country in average yards per play, with 7.20. This is by far the best average in a season in Kansas history. The prior record was 6.40, set in the 1950 season.

The Jayhawks are one of just six teams that have at least 2,500 passing yards, 2,200 rushing yards, 25 passing touchdowns and 20 rushing touchdowns.

Running back Devin Neal finished the home slate averaging exactly 100 yards per game. He's the first Jayhawk to accomplish that feat since Jon Cornish in 2006.
