The Kansas Jayhawks took a big setback last week, but they are still in a good position to go to a quality bowl game. Today's opponent, the Kansas State Wildcats, still has a decent path to the Big 12 Championship game. The Jayhawks have struggled in this series, but this is the best team in quite a while for Kansas.

Kansas tumbled out of the polls, but managed to hold on to the #25 spot in the CFP Rankings. Kansas State used their victory over Baylor to move up to 23rd in the AP Poll, 24th in the Coaches Poll, and 21st in the CFP Rankings.

The Jayhawks lead the all-time series 65-50-5, including a 37-22-2 record in games played at home. However, Kansas State has won the last 14 games in the series, with the last win for Kansas back in 2008.
