Final 4: Miami vs Connecticut Game Info, TV, Radio, Betting Odds & More

The Miami Hurricanes will head to the Final Four to play the Connecticut Huskies.

It’s been a grueling ride for the Canes throughout the NCAA Tournament.

Miami reached the Final Four with second half comeback victories over the Drake Bulldogs and the Indiana Hoosiers during the first two rounds, then the tremendous 26-point effort by Nijel Pack to help upset the Houston Cougars in the Elite 8, and winning the Midwest bracket and heading to the Final 4 with an incredible come-from-behind win over the Texas Longhorns with Jordan Miller not missing a single shot.

The Canes will play a Connecticut team that’s been red hot. It beat Iona 87-63, St. Mary’s 70-55, Arkansas 88-65, and just throttled Gonzaga 82-54 to reach the Final Four themselves.

Overall, UConn has won its four games to reach the Final Four by an average of 22.5 points. There’s been a star for the Huskies that will be much discussed heading into this matchup, forward Adama Sanogo.

The 6-foot-9 and 245-pound forward from Bamoko, Mali has been one of the NCAA Tournament’s best players. He’s averaged 20 points and 9.8 rebounds per contest thus far. Sanogo also hit 36 of 55 shots during the four-game run, shooting 65.5% from the floor.

Needless to say, seeing him compete against Miami big man Norchad Omier, also a great story like Sanogo by being a immigrant into the USA from Bluefields, Nicaragua, will be great for any college basketball fan. There will be plenty of other top-notch player matchups to discuss in the coming days, too.

While it will be a great matchup of talented players – it will also be a top-notch contest between head coaches with Jim Larrañaga for Miami and Dan Hurley from Connecticut – that will make this an incredible game to witness overall.
