Michigan Basketball Loses Commit During Transition From Juwan Howard To Dusty May

Sharpshooting point guard Christian Anderson has decided to reopen his recruitment following the firing of Juwan Howard and hiring of Dusty May.

Despite being committed to Michigan for nearly three years, Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill Academy point guard Christian Anderson has decided to open things back up. It's obviously a bit more difficult at this time since Anderson already signed his letter of intent, but with Juwan Howard out and Dusty May in, Anderson feels like this is the best move for him at this time.

It seems reasonable that Anderson will still consider Michigan as committing to the Wolverines early halted his recruitment in a pretty major way. Now, he's back on the market without any other real offers to consider. As an absolute sniper from three-point range, Anderson will get some looks and may even get interest from Dusty May and Michigan despite no longer being committed to the Wolverines.

At just 5-11, 155 pounds, Anderson is small for a Division I prospect but he's extremely skilled and can absolutely shoot the lights out. The senior guard averaged 20 points per game and shot 49% from distance while at the storied Oak Hill program this season.
