Just A Bulldog Minute: Dakota Jordan Is Starting To Warm Up

The star sophomore is starting to heat up as SEC play is around the corner.

This weekend will be a big test for the Bulldogs as they are taking on LSU for the opening weekend of SEC play.

The Bulldogs where on an nine-game win streak before dropping a game against South Alabama after a rocky start of the season. Dropping a series to Austin Peat was also not on the minds of MSU, but adjustments to the batting lineup have sparked the offense of the Dawgs.

One of those sparks has been sophomore Dakota Jordan who is continuing on his path as one of the next greats in the marron and white. Jordan has been on fire as of late and was named Southeastern Conference Co-Player of the Week after a superb four-game stretch.

Jordan is 11-17 during his last trips to bat while batting .414 for the season with nine home runs and 26 RBIs. With one more home run, he will have tied his freshman campaign where he had 10 homers and he is quickly approaching his total RBIs of 40.

Jordan is starting to form into the star player that many believed he could be for the Bulldogs as they have one of the most talented rosters since their national championship run in 2021 and in the SEC.

Jordan will lead the charge for the Mississippi State Bulldogs this weekend against the Tigers as it will be a litmus test to see how high and far State can go this spring as baseball starts to ramp up.
