Notre Dame Ranks 11th In The Athletic's Post-Spring Top 25

In this story:
More and more post-spring Top 25 rankings are coming out and Notre Dame continues to hover around the Top 10. In the latest Top 25 from The Athletic, Notre Dame checked in at No. 11 in the updated rankings.
The Athletic's Stewart Mandel put this list together, and here is what he had to say about Notre Dame.
"Wake Forest transfer quarterback Sam Hartman was as advertised in ND's spring game. While top RB Logan Diggs transferred, the Irish still have Audric Estime and touted redshirt freshman Jadarian Price. Joe Alt and Blake Fisher may be the best offensive tackle tandem in the country. The defense returns numerous key players like LBs JD Bertrand, Marist Liufau and Jack Kiser and cornerbacks Benjamin Morrison and Cam Hart. As of now, the D-Line lacks a big name like Isaiah Foskey but runs eight deep. Safeties are a concern." - Stewart Mandel
Notre Dame ranked No. 11 in the winter Way-Too-Early Top 25 as well. This is close to where the Fighting Irish are ranked in most other post-spring rankings.
Three of Notre Dame's 2023 opponents also cracked the Top 25 rankings from The Athletic.
The highest ranked Notre Dame opponent was USC, who checked in at No. 4. That was up two spots from where the Trojans ranked over the winter, which shows the transfers that USC landed this offseason have raised expectations.
USC leaped Ohio State, who fell two spots to No. 5 in the latest rankings. The Buckeyes ranked third in the winter Top 25 but fell to No. 5 in the post-spring rankings.
Clemson rounds out the Notre Dame opponents in the Top 25 by coming in at No. 16. That is down one spot from where Clemson was ranked in the winter.
