Arizona Wideout Cooper Perry Meshed With Notre Dame Commits

In this story:
Notre Dame had a ton of impressive pass catchers on campus this past weekend during their battle against Ohio State. One of the most productive of the group is 2025 Scottsdale (Ariz.) Notre Dame Prep wide receiver Cooper Perry, who came into the visit very high on the Irish.
Originally making his first visit to campus this offseason, this was a highly anticipated trip for Perry. From the conversations with coaches and recruits, to the game itself, it did not disappoint.
"The visit was seriously awesome,” Perry told Irish Breakdown. "Getting back to South Bend was even better than I anticipated. I love it out there.
"The game was crazy,” he continued. "Regardless of the score, the team played well and really showed their potential. The fans were crazy and really brought great energy. It was special to be a part of.”
Being able to spend a lot of time with the other recruits on campus was big for Perry. That included another talented wide receiver, and Notre Dame’s newest key recruiter.
"It was a really good group on campus,” said Perry. "I was hanging out with Talyn Taylor mostly. I also got the chance to talk with Deuce (Knight) a little bit and some of the other recruits.
"Deuce is a really cool guy,” he added. "He’s definitely fired up about Notre Dame football. He was really recruiting us hard.”
There is no questioning Notre Dame’s standing with Perry right now. Both sides are very high on the other. If the Irish staff really pushes, they have a chance to close on the Arizona star. That momentum continued over the weekend.
There is an impressive list of programs that are pushing for Perry. He has been extended offers from the Fighting Irish, Oregon, Kentucky, Michigan State, UCLA, Utah, Washington, Houston, Arizona, Louisville, Wisconsin, Boston College, Cal, Kansas and Arizona State among others thus far.
The rankings are also very promising for Perry. He ranks as a four-star by all of 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN. The latter has Perry the highest, sitting as the No. 138 overall player and No. 18 wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class.
The 6-2, 190-pound pass catcher put together a dynamic season as a sophomore for Notre Dame Prep. He hauled in 78 receptions for 1,100 yards and 20 touchdowns. Perry also ran the ball six times for 81 yards and another score on the ground.
The Arizona native isn’t just a premier on the football field. He is also an incredible lacrosse talent, being selected as a two time Under Armour All-American selection.
