High school playoff football is fully upon us. Over the last few days, a long list of talented Notre Dame commits were in action with championship aspirations.

Here is how every Irish commit fared. For the most part, the list was littered with big time performances and massive victories.

QB DEUCE KNIGHT - LUCEDALE (Miss.) GEORGE COUNTY

RESULT: Terry 41, George County 39

For the second straight week, George County came roaring back in the fourth quarter. Knight and his talented squad scored 22 points in that quarter but it wasn’t enough. The George County star passed for 291 yards, rushed for 86 more yards and accounted for three touchdowns in defeat. In seven games with George County this fall, Knight accounted for 24 total touchdowns.

RB ANEYAS WILLIAMS, HANNIBAL (Mo.) HIGH SCHOOL

RESULT: Hannibal 55, Warrenton 32

Hannibal handed Warrenton their first loss of the season, advancing to the next round of the playoffs. Williams put on an absolute show during that victory. He ran for 331 yards and four touchdowns on the night, including an electric 93 yard touchdown run in the second half.

RB JUSTIN THURMAN (2025), TAMPA BAY (Fla.) JESUIT

RESULT: Jesuit 40, Pinellas Park 7

Thurman reached the end zone again during the team’s 40-7 victory over Pinellas Park on Friday. The junior playmaker now has 16 total touchdowns on the season. He has been on an absolute tear over the second half of the season.

WR MICAH GILBERT, CHARLOTTE (N.C.) CHRISTIAN

RESULT: Providence Day 45, Charlotte Christian 37

Funny enough, Gilbert made his biggest impact on the defensive side of the ball on Friday. The senior intercepted a pass from his safety position, returning it 74 yards. He also collected six total tackles. All eyes were on Gilbert on offense, which shouldn't have been a surprise based on the season he was having. Gilbert ended the day with three receptions for 23 yards receiving.

WR LOGAN SALDATE, SALINAS (Calif.) PALMA

RESULT: Palma 38, Hollister 10

Saldate had yet another incredible performance on Friday, exploding for 176 yards and three touchdowns on just four receptions. On the season, Saldate has hauled in 55 receptions for 1,079 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging a stellar 19.6 yards per reception. He has also rushed the football seven times for 54 yards and another score.

TE JACK LARSEN, CHARLOTTE (N.C.) CATHOLIC

RESULT: Charlotte Catholic 24, TC Roberson 21

Charlotte Catholic extended their championship hopes this week, defeating TC Roberson 24-21. They will now take on a talented Weddington (10-2) team on Friday. Larsen will need to play his best game in order to come out with a big victory.

TE JAMES FLANIGAN (2025), GREEN BAY (Wis.) NOTRE DAME ACADEMY

RESULT: Rice Lake 30, Notre Dame Academy 15

Notre Dame Academy’s championship hopes ended on Friday, falling to Rice Lake 30-15. The future Irish tight end caught four passes for 68 yards in the loss. Flanigan took a huge step as a junior, developing into one of the dominant tight ends in the 2025 recruiting class.

OT GUERBY LAMBERT, WEST ROXBURY (Mass.) CATHOLIC MEMORIAL

RESULT: Catholic Memorial 42, Wellesley 21

For the third straight game, and sixth time overall, the Catholic Memorial offense went for over 40 points in a game. There has been some inconsistency but that unit has been stellar for the majority of the season.

OT STYLES PRESCOD, FISHERS (Ind.) HAMILTON SOUTHEASTERN

RESULT: Westfield 24, Hamilton Southeastern 21

Unfortunately the Hamilton Southeastern season came to an end on Friday with their 24-21 loss against Westfield. Prescod had a tremendous senior season, showing massive improvement from his junior film.

OL PETER JONES, MALVERN (Pa.) PREP

RESULT: Malvern Prep 17, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy 7

The Malvern Prep season was capped off on Saturday with a Inter-AC championship. That ends a fantastic career for Jones. Next stop: Notre Dame.

OL ANTHONIE KNAPP, ROSWELL (Ga.) HIGH SCHOOL

RESULT: Roswell 51, River Ridge 24

The Roswell offense continues to play at an extremely high level, led by Knapp who has been rotating between both left and right tackle this season. In total, the offense went for 539 total yards and seven touchdowns.

DE BRYCE YOUNG, CHARLOTTE (N.C.) CHRISTIAN

RESULT: Providence Day 45, Charlotte Christian 37

Despite the Knight’s comeback bid falling a little short, it wasn’t from a lack of effort from Young, who had a tremendous football game. On defense, he had seven total tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack and a fumble recovery. Charlotte Christian also needed Young to step up on offense, and he did just that. On the day he hauled in three receptions for 30 yards and a touchdown through the air.

DE LOGHAN THOMAS, LAKEWOOD (Ohio) ST. EDWARD

RESULT: St. Edward 41, McKinley 17

St. Edward dominated once again, cementing their ticket to their third straight regional final. They are led by senior pass rusher Thomas, who has taken his game to a whole other level as a senior. They will take on Medina (10-3) on Friday

LB BODIE KAHOUN, ROANOKE (Va.) PATRICK HENRY

RESULT: Fleming 23, Patrick Henry 16

It was a tough loss for Patrick Henry, who was down their starting quarterback and running back during the loss. That ended an outstanding senior campaign for Kahoun, who evolved into one of the best linebackers in the 2024 recruiting class. He is a heavy favorite to be name the conference defensive player of the year and is set to head down to San Antonio and participate in this year’s All American Bowl.

LB TEDDY REZAC, OMAHA (Neb.) WESTSIDE

RESULT: Westside 41, Millard West 0

Rezac put together arguably his best game for Westside this week. On defense, he collected 14 total tackles, two tackles for loss and a pass breakup. On offense, Rezac also hauled in his lone reception for a 24 yard touchdown. He was instrumental in a dominant 41-0 victory.

LB KYNGSTONN VILIAMU-ASA, BELLFLOWER (Calif.) ST. JOHN BOSCO

S TAEBRON BENNIE-POWELL, WEST CHESTER (Ohio) LAKOTA WEST

RESULT: Lakota West 19, Princeton 7

Make it 11 straight victories for Lakota West after starting 0-2 this season. They have been led by their defense, which came into the game giving up just over seven points per game on the season. After an opening drive touchdown for Princeton, the Firebirds settled in and dominated the rest of the night. Following that opening drive, the defense surrendered just 85 total yards the rest of the night.
