Playoffs, we talking about playoffs? We sure are! Several Notre Dame commits are right in the middle of championship season with high expectations on the table.

Here is every Irish commit slated to be in action over the next couple of days. The future of the Notre Dame program will need to shine bright in order for those championship aspirations to stay alive.

QB DEUCE KNIGHT - LUCEDALE (Miss.) GEORGE COUNTY

Matchup: George County (8-3) vs Terry (6-4) (Lucedale, Miss.)

Game Time: Friday (11/10) at 7 PM ET

Down 40-21 with a playoff berth on the line, George County set toward a massive comeback last week. The game ended with a touchdown pass from night, coming out on top 43-40 in miraculous fashion. George County is hoping to win their first playoff game since the 2007 season against Terry (6-4) on Friday.

RB ANEYAS WILLIAMS, HANNIBAL (Mo.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Hannibal (11-1) at Warrenton (11-0) (Warrenton, Mo.)

Game Time: Friday (11/10) at 7 PM ET

Hannibal has asked Williams to make plays in the run and pass game this season so far. Last Friday, his impact as a runner was the area of focus, rushing for 256 yards and four touchdowns. Williams ended the day with 289 total yards overall. They head into a big matchup against undefeated Warrenton (11-0).

RB JUSTIN THURMAN (2025), TAMPA BAY (Fla.) JESUIT

Matchup: Jesuit (8-2) vs Pinellas Park (6-4) (Tampa Bay, Fla.)

Thurman had been on quite a roll over the last few games. The junior speedster put together his best game of the season last week, rushing for 201 yards and two touchdowns on just 18 carries, averaging 11.1 yards per carry in the game. He also hauled in two receptions for 13 yards and another score as a receiver.

WR MICAH GILBERT, CHARLOTTE (N.C.) CHRISTIAN

Matchup: Charlotte Christian (8-3) at Providence Day School (10-1) (Charlotte, N.C.)

Gilbert only hauled in two receptions during the 42-13 victory last week. He did the absolute most with those opportunities, going for 81 yards and two touchdowns on the day. On the season, Gilbert pulled in 73 receptions for 1,082 yards and 10 touchdowns.

WR LOGAN SALDATE, SALINAS (Calif.) PALMA

Matchup: Palma (6-4) vs Hollister (3-6) (Salinas, Calif.)

With the playoffs on the line, Saldate came up big for Palma. During the 41-20 victory over Everett Alvarez, the senior pass catcher hauled in three touchdowns last week. In ten games, Saldate has scored 12 total touchdowns for the Chieftains.

TE JACK LARSEN, CHARLOTTE (N.C.) CATHOLIC

Matchup: Charlotte Catholic (8-3) at TC Roberson (9-2) (Asheville, N.C.)

In a bit of an upset, Charlotte Catholic took down Myers Park last Friday. They were buoyed by a 28 point second quarter which really distanced the two teams. Larsen led the offense, hauling in six receptions for 99 yards and two touchdowns on the day.

TE JAMES FLANIGAN (2025), GREEN BAY (Wisc.) NOTRE DAME ACADEMY

Matchup: Notre Dame Academy (11-1) at Rice Lake (11-1) (Rice Lake, Wisc.)

Notre Dame Academy handed Mount Horeb/Barneveld their first loss of the season last Friday, advancing to the next round of the playoffs. The Tritons trailed in the game with less than two minutes on their clock but were able to knock in the winning score in the final moments.

OT GUERBY LAMBERT, WEST ROXBURY (Mass.) CATHOLIC MEMORIAL

Matchup: Catholic Memorial (5-2) vs Wellesley (5-4) (West Roxbury, Mass.)

Catholic Memorial won their second straight game last week, eclipsing the 40 point mark on offense once again. This performance was the team’s most commanding so far, winning by a 34 point margin on the day.

Matchup: Hamilton Southeastern (9-2) at Westfield (10-1) (Westfield, Ind.)

Hamilton Southeastern advanced to the next round of the playoffs lasy Friday when they defeated cross town rival Fishers 38-21. They now sit at 9-2 overall on the season heading into this week’s matchup against Westfield (10-1).

OL PETER JONES, MALVERN (Pa.) PREP

Matchup: Malvern Prep (8-1) at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (8-1) (Philadelphia, Pa.)

Malvern Prep continued their winning ways on Friday, beating Germantown Academy by a 38-10 decisive margin. They moved to 8-1 overall on the season and will now take on Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (8-1) on Saturday.

OL ANTHONIE KNAPP, ROSWELL (Ga.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Roswell (9-1) vs River Ridge (5-5) (Roswell, Ga.)

The Hornet offense continued their dominant stretch last Friday, going for a season high 563 total yards. Knapp has been a big part of their offensive success, seeing reps at both left and right tackle on the season.

Young has been tremendous during his senior season so far. Last Friday, he recorded eight total tackles during the massive 42-13 victory. Through 11 games, Young has recorded 90 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss and 13 sacks.

DE LOGHAN THOMAS, LAKEWOOD (Ohio) ST. EDWARD

Matchup: St. Edward (11-1) vs McKinley (9-3) (Lakewood, Ohio)

It was a dominant playoff performance for St. Edward last Friday, who is pushing for another state championship. Thomas ended the game being named the playoff of the game, recording two sacks against GlenOak.

Matchup: Patrick Henry (9-1) vs Fleming (6-4) (Roanoke, Va.)

It was the second straight shutout for Patrick Henry, who held Hidden Valley to just 106 total yards on offense during the contest last week. Kahoun entered the game with 160 total tackles on the season, and left with 182.

LB TEDDY REZAC, OMAHA (Neb.) WESTSIDE

Matchup: Westside (11-0) vs Millard West (9-2) (Omaha, Neb.)

It was a quiet day in the run game for Rezac, finishing with just two total tackles. He did haul in his fourth interception of the season. Rezac continues to make his presence felt roaming on the backend. They continue their playoff run this week against Milliard West (9-2).

LB KYNGSTONN VILIAMU-ASA, BELLFLOWER (Calif.) ST. JOHN BOSCO

Matchup: St. John Bosco (9-1) vs Sam Clemente (9-1) (Bellflower, Calif.)

At halftime, St. John Bosco held a narrow 23-15 lead two weeks ago against Orange Lutheran. The Braves went on to dominate in the second half to make the game look uncompetitive. They leave the bye week and are now ready to take on Sam Clemente (9-1) at home on Friday night.

CB KARSON HOBBS, CINCINNATI (Ohio) ARCHBISHOP MOELLER

Matchup: Archbishop Moeller (8-4) vs Mason (7-5) (Cincinnati, Ohio)

After a tough early start to the season, the Crusaders have now won seven of their last eight games of the season. With it being playoff time, they promise to be a tough out. They are led by Hobbs, whose defense has now had five separate games where they let up single digit points.

S TAEBRON BENNIE-POWELL, WEST CHESTER (Ohio) LAKOTA WEST

Matchup: Lakota West (10-2) at Princeton (12-0) (Cincinnati, Ohio)

Lakota West continued their hot streak last Saturday, winning their tenth straight game after stating the year 0-2. A big reason for that is a stellar Firebird defense, who has not allowed a single opponent over 14 points in a game this season. Bennie-Powell and his talented group is giving up just 7.6 points per game this season.
