Notre Dame Commits Set To Continue Playoff Dominance

There are several Notre Dame recruits who are hoping to continue their championship journeys this week with playoff season firmly upon us. Here are each Irish commit who will be in action.

Make sure to keep an eye on each recruit over the next couple of days. The future of Notre Dame football will be on full display, and each of their respected teams will need their impact.

RB ANEYAS WILLIAMS, HANNIBAL (Mo.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Hannibal (12-1) at Lutheran North (11-1) (St. Louis, Mo.)

Game Time: Friday (11/17) at 7 PM ET

Hannibal handed Warrenton their first loss of the season this past week, advancing to the next round of the playoffs. Williams put on an absolute show during that victory. He ran for 331 yards and four touchdowns on the night, including an electric 93 yard touchdown run in the second half.

RB JUSTIN THURMAN (2025), TAMPA BAY (Fla.) JESUIT

Matchup: Jesuit (9-2) vs Northeast (8-3) (Tampa Bay, Fla.)

Game Time: Friday (11/17) at 7:30 PM ET

Thurman reached the end zone again during the team’s 40-7 victory over Pinellas Park last Friday. The junior playmaker now has 16 total touchdowns on the season. He has been on an absolute tear over the second half of the season.

RB DANIEL ANDERSON (2025), BRYANT (Ark.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Bryant (9-1) vs Rogers (8-3) (Bryant, Ark.)

Coming off of a first round bye, Bryant is set for their quest for six straight state championships. They will be led by Anderson, who is set for his first game action coming back from a foot injury.

WR LOGAN SALDATE, SALINAS (Calif.) PALMA

Matchup: Palma (7-4) at Menlo-Atherton (5-6) (Atherton, Calif.)

Game Time: Friday (11/17) at 6:45 PM ET

Saldate had yet another incredible performance last Friday, exploding for 176 yards and three touchdowns on just four receptions. On the season, Saldate has hauled in 55 receptions for 1,079 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging a stellar 19.6 yards per reception. He has also rushed the football seven times for 54 yards and another score.

TE JACK LARSEN, CHARLOTTE (N.C.) CATHOLIC

Matchup: Charlotte Catholic (9-3) at Weddington (10-2) (Matthews, N.C.)

Game Time: Friday (11/10) at 7 PM ET

Charlotte Catholic extended their championship hopes this week, defeating TC Roberson 24-21 last week. They will now take on a talented Weddington (10-2) team on Friday night. Larsen will need to play his best game in order to come out with a big victory.

OT GUERBY LAMBERT, WEST ROXBURY (Mass.) CATHOLIC MEMORIAL

Matchup: Catholic Memorial (7-2) vs Marshfield (7-2) (West Roxbury, Mass.)

Game Time: Saturday (11/18) at 1 PM ET

For the third straight game, and sixth time overall, the Catholic Memorial offense went for over 40 points in a game last week. There has been some inconsistency but that unit has been stellar for the majority of the season.

OL ANTHONIE KNAPP, ROSWELL (Ga.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Roswell (10-1) vs Lanier (9-2) (Roswell, Ga.)

Game Time: Friday (11/17) at 7:30 PM ET

The Roswell offense continues to play at an extremely high level, led by Knapp who has been rotating between both left and right tackle this season. In total, the offense went for 539 total yards and seven touchdowns on last week’s victory.

DE LOGHAN THOMAS, LAKEWOOD (Ohio) ST. EDWARD

Matchup: St. Edward (12-1) vs Medina (10-3) (Lakewood, Ohio)

St. Edward dominated once again, cementing their ticket to their third straight regional final last week. They are led by senior pass rusher Thomas, who has taken his game to a whole other level as a senior. They will take on Medina (10-3) on Friday night.

DE CJ MAY (2025), HIGHLAND HOME (Al.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Highland Home (10-1) at Comer (11-0) (Sylacauga, Al.)

Game Time: Friday (11/17) at 7 PM ET

Highland Home got back to their winning ways last week, dominating Ariton 45-6 on the road. They will now travel once again to Comer (11-0), who is putting together an outstanding season. They will need to depend on May, who has 48 total tackles, nine tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks on the season.

DT DAVION DIXON (2025), MIAMI (Fla.) PALMETTO

Matchup: Miami Palmetto (9-1) vs Western (8-3) (Lakewood, Ohio)

Game Time: Friday (11/17) at 7:30 PM ET

Miami Palmetto continued their hot streak last Thursday, defeating Doral Academy 21-7. Dixon and his outstanding defensive unit will take on Western (8-3) on Friday, who have scored 49 or more points five times this season.

LB KYNGSTONN VILIAMU-ASA, BELLFLOWER (Calif.) ST. JOHN BOSCO

Matchup: St. John Bosco (10-1) vs Centennial (9-2) (Bellflower, Calif.)

Game Time: Friday (11/17) at 7 PM ET

After giving up 10 points in the first half, St. John Bosco put the clamps down in the second half last week. They scored 21 unanswered in the second to roll to a decisive victory. Viliamu-Asa and his talented crew showcased just how dominant they can be down the stretch. In total, they held San Clemente to 132 yards of offense.

CB KARSON HOBBS, CINCINNATI (Ohio) ARCHBISHOP MOELLER vs S TAEBRON BENNIE-POWELL, WEST CHESTER (Ohio) LAKOTA WEST

Matchup: Archbishop Moeller (9-4) at Lakota West (11-2) (West Chester, Ohio)

Game Time: Friday (11/17) at 7 PM ET

Archbishop Moeller has now won eight of their last nine games, securing a spot in the regional final next week. They will face off against Lakota West, giving Hobbs the chance to face off against fellow Irish commit Taebron Bennie-Powell.

Make it 11 straight victories for Lakota West after starting 0-2 this season heading into this game. They have been led by their defense, which came into the game giving up just over seven points per game on the season. After an opening drive touchdown for Princeton, the Firebirds settled in and dominated the rest of the night. Following that opening drive, the defense surrendered just 85 total yards the rest of the night.

This promises to be a physical, and low scoring affair.

S KENNEDY URLACHER, CHANDLER (Ariz.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Chandler (8-2) vs Highland (8-2) (Chandler, Ariz.)

After a bye week, Urlacher and his talented Chandler squad is set to start their playoff journey. They will welcome Highland (8-2) to town on Friday.
