Cornerback Cree Thomas Finalizes Return Trip To Notre Dame

Through three games, star 2025 Phoenix (Az.) Brophy College Prep cornerback Cree Thomas is putting together a tremendous season. So far Thomas has hauled in two receptions and returned one for a touchdown.

Thomas will be putting that success on momentary hold on October 14th when he intends to get back to Notre Dame to see their battle against USC. This will be the talented defender’s second visit to campus, first making the trip back in April.

“Building the relationship with Notre Dame has been super good,” Thomas told Irish Breakdown. “I’m really feeling like I’m making some strong connections with all of the coaches.”

On top of this upcoming visit to Notre Dame, Thomas will also be checking out the University of Arizona this weekend when they take on UTEP. He will also be checking out Wisconsin when they take on Rutgers on October 7th.

Notre Dame has made Thomas a priority early. The last time they pulled a talented cornerback out of Brophy Prep, it worked out pretty well.

The Arizona native has quickly attracted the attention of several prominent PAC 12 schools, including holding offers from Oregon, Arizona State, Arizona and Cal early on. Thomas also holds offers from the Fighting Irish, Wisconsin and Purdue among others.

The 6-1, 170-pound cornerback is coming off of a outstanding sophomore campaign for Brophy College Prep. Thomas locked down one of the cornerback positions, finishing the season with 33 total tackles, one interception and six pass breakups. He also added in 1.5 tackles for loss and a half of a sack, while also being the team’s main kick and punt returner.
