Florida Defensive Lineman Sean Sevillano Jr. Locks In Official Visit To Notre Dame

Notre Dame is busy finalizing a long list of talented recruits taking official visits this June. Standout 2024 Clearwater (Fla.) Academy International defensive lineman Sean Sevillano Jr. told Irish Breakdown that he has finalized his official visit from June 16-18.

Sevillano was a dominant force for Clearwater American International as a junior. On the season, he recorded 78 total tackles, 50 tackles for loss, 22 sacks and six forced fumbles. He did all that while only playing in 11 games.

The 6-2, 300-pound defender currently holds 24 reported offers to his name. Some of the notable programs to extend offers include the Fighting Irish, Ohio State, Stanford, Maryland, Louisville, Duke, Illinois, West Virginia, Wake Forest, Indiana, Iowa State and Kansas among others.

This will be Sevillano’s second trip to Notre Dame. The first came back on March 25th, which was a successful one.

Defensive line recruiting has gotten a lot more clarity over the last couple of weeks. Justin Scott remains the absolute priority on the interior in the 2024 recruiting class but there may be a need for a second defensive tackle in the haul.

That recruiting weekend will be a big one for Notre Dame. They are set to host linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa and pass rusher Anelu Lafaele as well. Some more defensive clarity could be gained during those few days.
