Safety recruiting has presented a lot of question marks for Notre Dame. Chris O’Leary and the staff really need to have a strong finish to the 2024 recruiting class and make some early impressions on 2025.

In the 2025 recruiting class, one of the top names is Fredericksburg (Va.) St. Michael safety Remington Moss. His recruitment has been heating up lately but luckily, he is already focused on a few of the schools who have been standing out to him early on.

"Recruiting has been going well,” Moss told Irish Breakdown. "It’s been slowing down recently which is allowing me to look at my options more. It’s been a welcomed opportunity.

"Maryland, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Notre Dame and Wisconsin have done good in recruiting,” he continued. “Each team is consistently showing me love and making me feel like a priority.”

So far, Notre Dame has been doing a tremendous job standing out among the schools. They have sold the vision and made Moss feel wanted.

“My relationship has been developing well with Notre Dame,” Moss explained. “They stand out because they always keep it real with me and are great coaches. I’m in touch with them every week and are really growing a great bond.

“Notre Dame has been standing out recently because it's a great school and program to play for,” he added. “I could definitely see myself excelling over there.”

Moss has already garnered the attention of several notable programs. Some of his top offers right now include the Fighting Irish, Penn State, Tennessee, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Ole Miss, NC State, Maryland, Duke, Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Syracuse and Georgia Tech among others.

The 6-1, 175-pound defender was an absolute playmaker for St. Michael as a sophomore. He led the team with five interceptions, returning one for a touchdown. Moss also broke up another 16 passes on the season.
