Legacy Tight End Marshall Pritchett Showed Out At Notre Dame Camp

Star 2025 tight end Marshall Pritchett puts together tremendous performance at Notre Dame evaluation camp

Last week the Notre Dame staff held an evaluation camp on campus, welcoming a swarm of talented recruits. One of them brought a familiar name to the table, including an outstanding performance from 2025 Rabun Gap (Ga.) Nacoochee School tight end Marshall Pritchett.

The Georgia native is the youngest son of former Notre Dame linebacker Wes Pritchett, who was a standout for the program in the Golden Era from 1985-88. Pritchett was the leading tackler and All-American on the Notre Dame 1988 National Championship team.

That brings a lot of expectations for Marshall, who is a gifted talent in his own right. Pritchett definitely turned some heads at the event.

"It was a great experience,” Pritchett told Irish Breakdown. "I played very well. I didn't lose a rep in the 1-on-1s and feel like I performed very well overall.”

The evaluation camp offered Pritchett the chance to work with the Notre Dame coaches. So far he has built a good relationship with the coaches, which is a positive moving forward.

"It was great getting back on campus and being able to workout with Coach (Chansi) Stuckey and Coach (Gerad) Parker,” said Pritchett. “My relationship has grown with Coach Parker a lot throughout the year and I hope that continues.”

Pritchett did leave the visit without an offer from Notre Dame. With his performance, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that it could come in the future. For now, he’s hearing from several impressive programs for his work in the camp circuit.

"Recruiting has been great,” he explained. "I've shown out at many different camps and picked up some major offers, but still there are schools that have concerns about my weight.

"A couple schools that have been recruiting me well and showing me the most love are North Carolina, Cincinnati, Wisconsin, UCF and there are others as well but I would say they are recruiting me the most as of now,” Pritchett added.

On3 considers Pritchett to be the No. 24 tight end in the 2025 recruiting class. He has begun to really reel in some impressive offers. Some of the top schools who have extended offers to Pritchett include North Carolina, Wisconsin, Boston College, Cincinnati, UCF and Vanderbilt among others.

The 6-5, 210-pound tight end put together a standout campaign as a sophomore. Pritchett finished that season with 38 receptions for 579 yards and six touchdowns, despite only playing in eight games. He led the team in receiving yards per game, averaging 72.4 yards.
