Notre Dame Offers 2024 Safety Anthony Robinson III

Safety recruiting has been a major question mark for Notre Dame in the 2024 recruiting class, possessing a ton of talent but some major question marks to answer. The board got deeper on Wednesday when the Irish staff extended an offer to Destrehan (La.) High School safety Anthony Robinson III.

Robinson has been gaining a lot of momentum on the recruiting trail this off-season. Since the beginning of February, he has received the majority of his scholarship offers. Some of the top programs who have pulled the trigger so far include Notre Dame, Miami, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Baylor, Missouri and Georgia Tech among others.

The 6-1, 190-pound safety was a valuable member of a stingy Destrehan defense that finished the season with a 14-0 record. On the season, the Wildcats were able to outscore their opponents by a score of 545 to 91 points. The defense surrendered just 6.5 points per game and allowed less than 10 points during 10 of the 14 games.

After a couple of misses over the last couple of recruiting cycles, Chris O’Leary is looking to strengthen a safety group in need of some added talent. Robinson presents an intriguing athlete from a premier high school program. Getting him on campus this summer will be a big mission in this recruitment.
