Notre Dame Offers Maryland Defensive Tackle Nahsir Taylor

Over the last couple of weeks, Notre Dame coaches have been out on the road scouring the nation for potential talent that could fit with the program. That has led to several offers being extended, including one on Wednesday. The Irish staff extended an offer to 2025 Upper Marlboro (Md.) Rock Creek Christian Academy defensive tackle Nahsir Taylor.

Taylor is already pulling in impressive offer after impressive offer. Some of the notable programs who have already offered the Maryland native include Notre Dame, Georgia, Penn State, Oregon, Maryland, West Virginia, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, Syracuse and Rutgers among others.

A state that Notre Dame hasn’t had nearly enough success in recently is Maryland. There have been several misses in the territory, especially for defensive lineman. The staff must figure a way out to be able to tap more into that pipeline.

Notre Dame already holds a commitment on the defensive line in the 2025 recruiting class with Florida standout Davion Dixon. The 6-2, 305-pound defender is a dominating presence inside who projects extremely well as a nose tackle in the Irish system.

The coaching staff is now attempting to find some penetration style players to man the three technique position and create havoc. The 6-2, 265-pound Taylor seems to fit that mold perfectly.
