One of the top offensive tackles in the country, and one of the top Notre Dame targets is ready to announce his college decision. Standout 2025 Waukesha (Wisc.) Catholic Memorial offensive tackle Owen Strebig is set to make his college decision. His decision date will be on Thursday, February 8th at 5 PM ET.

Strebig will be selecting between finalists Notre Dame, USC, Miami, Florida State and Wisconsin.

The Irish head into that decision with a lot of momentum. Strebig has already taken six visits to Notre Dame, including their Junior Day a couple of weekends ago. They have been viewed as the leader for the Wisconsin native for some time now.

Notre Dame has never had problems attracting talented offensive lineman to be a part of the program. Strebig appears to be the next big time recruit that the Irish have a good chance to land. He has been courted by some of the top programs in all of college football, including offers from the Irish, Michigan, Florida State, USC, Florida, Miami, Penn State, Texas A&M, Missouri, Nebraska, Arkansas, Stanford, Iowa, Wisconsin, Kentucky, UCLA, UCF, Minnesota, Illinois, Purdue, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan State and Duke among others.

The 6-8, 290-pound offensive lineman is currently well liked from a recruiting ranking perspective. He ranks as a four-star recruit by every major recruiting platform. Rivals has Strebig pegged the highest, coming in as the No. 65 overall player and No. 6 offensive tackle in the 2025 recruiting class. 

Notre Dame has one offensive tackle already committed, with Connecticut standout Will Black already joining the class. The Irish staff is looking to land a talented four man OL class in 2025, and tackles are a top priority.
