When recruits get on campus, it can be a game changer for Notre Dame. While they will be on the road this weekend against NC State, there is still a massive opportunity for the program to be seen by a couple of key targets in the 2025 recruiting class.

Other 2025 recruits will also be in attendance in other games around college football this weekend. Here are some visitors to know.

NOTRE DAME (10) AT NC STATE

There are two key Irish targets who will be visiting NC State this weekend.

DL Isaiah Campbell - Durham (N.C.) Southern

Back in July, Campbell included Notre Dame in his list of top ten schools. Obviously that is a good sign but there doesn’t currently seem to be much traction. That can change with a big performance against NC State on Saturday. The 6-5, 265-pound defensive lineman has intrigue in Notre Dame but can they turn that into legitimate interest? Saturday could help.

S Jordan Young - Monroe (N.C.) High School

There may not be a better safety in the 2025 recruiting class then Young, who has outstanding ball skills and athletic ability. So much so that he could also play wide receiver on the next level if he desired. Young made his first trip to South Bend this off-season but momentum has seemed to cool a bit over the last couple of months. Impressing the talented defender in person could be big.

TEXAS (11) AT (3) ALABAMA

This game is the main attraction of the weekend. It is no surprise that there is a long list of talented 2025 recruits making the trip to Tuscaloosa, including several Irish targets.

There is one target in particular who is especially high on Notre Dame right now.

CB Devin Williams - Buford (Ga.) High School

The talented defensive back had a tremendous visit to Notre Dame this offseason, really impressing Williams in a big way. They are now one of the top schools for Williams, who is one of the more talented cover cornerbacks in the 2025 recruiting class. He is a player that the staff is working very hard to try and get back on campus this fall.

There are also several other Notre Dame targets set to be on campus, although momentum is not nearly as high as Williams currently. Arguably the top overall player in the 2025 recruiting class, Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. will be taking in the action. The 6-6, 255-pound blindside protector lobbied for an Irish offer early on in the process but there hasn’t been much movement in this recruitment since then.

If Sanders isn’t the top overall player in the class, Savannah (Ga.) Christian Prep defensive lineman Elijah Griffin probably is. The 6-4, 270-pound is a freak of nature athletically, with upside to play all over the defensive line. He’s a pipedream for Notre Dame right now but it doesn’t hurt to dream.

Sanford (Fla.) Seminole linebacker Ethan Pritchard will also be making the trip. There has been contact between Pritchard and Notre Dame but there seem to be a couple of linebackers who are being prioritized slightly higher right now. That relationship will be interesting to monitor.

Alabama will also be welcoming one of the top 2026 quarterbacks to campus this weekend in Nashville (Tenn.) Christian School standout Jared Curtis. The 6-3, 215-pound signal caller currently holds an offer from the Irish, among almost every elite program in college football.

It’s unsure where 2025 Shawnee (Kan.) Mill Valley defensive end Jayden Woods will be traveling this weekend but he will be on the road. He will either be at the Troy-Kansas State or the Middle Tennessee-Missouri game.
