Offensive Lineman Anthonie Knapp Commits To Notre Dame
Notre Dame has added another commitment to its highly ranked 2024 class by landing Roswell (Ga.) High School offensive lineman Anthonie Knapp. Knapp picked Notre Dame over Penn State, North Carolina, NC State and Georgia Tech.
The 6-4, 265-pound blocker visited Notre Dame last week and was offered during the visit. Knapp silently committed to the Fighting Irish around the time of the visit and went public today.
Knapp is an offensive tackle for Roswell but Notre Dame is recruiting him as an interior player. He will likely begin his Notre Dame career playing guard. He becomes the second offensive line commit for the Fighting Irish in the 2024 class, joining Malvern (Pa.) Prep offensive tackle Peter Jones.
Knapp was recruited by new offensive line coach Joe Rudolph, who began recruiting the Roswell blocker during his time at Virginia Tech. Knapp earned offers from the Irish and his five finalists as well as from Louisville, Cincinnati, Missouri, Duke, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Indiana and Kansas.
With Knapp in the fold the 2024 Notre Dame recruiting class now jumps up to No. 3 in the national rankings according to 247Sports composite rankings.
