Oklahoma WR Enters Transfer Portal

With the Sooners' regular season over, OU has lost its first player to the transfer portal in the 2023-24 offseason.

On Saturday night, Oklahoma wide receiver DJ Graham announced on social media that he will enter the transfer portal.

Graham played four seasons at OU, appearing in 28 games and making 12 starts during his time in Norman. The senior wideout originally played defensive back for the Sooners and made 10 starts at corner under Oklahoma's previous coaching staff in 2021.

In his first year playing under Brent Venables and OU's new regime, Graham made the switch to wide receiver, where he was unable to earn any time on the field.

The former 3-star recruit from Keller, TX, announced in early September that would undergo season-ending surgery.

Graham finishes his career at Oklahoma with 72 tackles, one tackle for loss, five pass breakups, two interceptions and one forced fumble. When the Sooners' took down Nebraska 23-16 in Norman back in 2021, the then-sophomore DB made an incredible one-handed interception that sealed the game for OU.

Graham is the first Sooners' player in the 2023-24 offseason to announce his entrance into the transfer portal. True freshman defensive lineman Derrick LeBlanc transferred to UCF back in August prior to his first season in Norman.

Former OU offensive lineman Marcus Hicks also entered the transfer portal recently, but wasn't on the Sooners' roster in 2023.
