Veteran Oklahoma OL Declares for NFL Draft

One of the Sooners' veteran offensive linemen declared for the 2024 NFL Draft, giving Bill Bedenbaugh one more spot to fill next season.

After four years in Norman, Oklahoma center Andrew Raym declared for the NFL Draft on Saturday evening.

Raym started 12 games for the Sooners this season and 29 games in his career at OU. Hailing from Broken Arrow, OK, the talented interior offensive lineman was a 4-star recruit, rated the No. 41 overall player and the No. 1 offensive guard prospect in the 2020 recruiting class.

Raym finished the 2023 season with a 64.1 offensive grade and 72.2 pass blocking grade, according to PFF.

With Raym's departure, Bill Bedenbaugh and company will lose three starters from Oklahoma's 2023 campaign heading into the 2024 season. Right guard McKade Mettauer and left tackle Walter Rouse are both on their final year of eligibility.

Raym is the first Sooners' player in this cycle to officially announce his entry into the NFL Draft.

Earlier in the week, SoonerScoop.com reported that junior linebacker Danny Stutsman will declare for the draft, but an official announcement has not yet been made.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pound offensive lineman did not indicate in his announcement whether or not he will play in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 28.
