OU Basketball: Oklahoma Lands Bedlam Transfer

In this story:
Jennie Barancyk is wasting no time rebuilding the Oklahoma roster.
And she didn’t have to go far to get started.
Baranczyk has apparently landed Lexy Keys, a 3-point and defensive specialist at Oklahoma State for the last three seasons.
The 5-foot-7 Keys, originally from Tahlequah, announced her decision to transfer to the other side of the Bedlam rivalry on Tuesday via social media.

Keys played high school basketball at Sequoyah High School, then was named Big 12 All-Freshman as she made 16 starts and played in all 28 games in 2020-21.
As an OSU sophomore, Keys played in 28 games and made 23 starts, averaging 10.1 points per game with a team-leading 51 successful 3-pointers.
Keys’ career-highs were 19 points against Kansas as a freshman and 22 against West Virginia as a sophomore. Last year, her season-high of 17 came against Kansas State.
Keys scored in double figures 17 times as a junior, including 14 in each regular season game against the Sooners. She also led the team in steals 11 times.
She shot .363 from the floor and .315 from 3-point range while averaging 9.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game last season and made 32 starts.
In her OSU career, Keys ranks sixth in school history in 3-pointers with 130.
Baranczyk faces a major rebuild in Norman as she must replace three seniors — two of whom (Taylor Robertson and Madi Williams) rank 1-2 in school history in games played and starts, and one of whom is the all-time 3-point shooter in NCAA basketball history (Robertson).
