After a week in which she averaged 20.0 points and 9.0 rebounds, Oklahoma senior forward Skylar Vann was named Big 12 Player of the Week on Monday.

Vann's strong week earned her the accolade for the second time in her career, and her first since Jan. 17, 2022). Oklahoma (13-6, 7-1 Big 12) has now produced a conference player of the week in each of the last five seasons.

In a win over then-No. 10 Texas in Austin, Vann posted a 19-point, 12-rebound double-double, the 10th of her career, to power OU past the Longhorns, 91-87. The senior added a pair of assists, along with a block and a steal. She shot 7-of-9 from the floor, making all six of her shots from inside the 3-point arc and was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line.

On Sunday, she followed that performance with 21 points and seven rebounds to guide Oklahoma over Kansas. She scored a pair of clutch buckets down the stretch to help put the game out of reach and push Oklahoma to 7-1 in the Big 12 for the first time since 2014-15.

Vann was the only player in the league this week to average 20 points and nine rebounds per game while shooting 60 percent or better.

Vann and the Sooners, who are receiving votes in Monday's AP Top 25 poll, return to the floor on Wednesday night when No. 2 Kansas State (20-1, 9-0 Big 12) comes to Norman. Tip is set for 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
