The Ducks have had trouble getting much of a rushing attack going so far this season, but Verdell seems to think they made a lot of progress in the bye week.

While the Ducks have managed to jump out to a 3-1 record through four games, it has been brutally apparent that parts of the offense need a lot of work if they are to continue their winning ways and make it through the conference schedule unscathed. 

The running game, in particular, has been a disappointment thus far, and the Ducks know it. 

When talking to the media on Tuesday morning, RB CJ Verdell spoke about Oregon's intentions to get better running the ball over the bye week, which has now passed, and he says that they are very close to breaking through.
