CJ Verdell Will Not Return to Game vs. California With Leg Injury

Verdell was seen in a walking boot coming out of the Oregon locker room after halftime.

Oregon starting RB CJ Verdell will not return to the game against Cal after suffering an ankle injury in the first half.

Verdell was seen coming out of the locker room after the half with a walking boot on his right foot, signifying that he won;t be seeing the field any time soon. 

Before he got injured, Verdell was putting together a nice game while the Ducks did well to move the ball on offense. Although Oregon was unable to score in the first half, they had over 200 yards of offense.
