The Oregon Ducks grabbed a big recruitment on Friday afternoon, after Devon Williams announced that he will be coming to Oregon after previously committing the USC.

According to 247 Sports, Williams announced his intentions to transfer to Oregon in a tweet on Friday afternoon.

Previously this week, the Oregon State Beavers had announced that Williams was joining their roster, but that did not seem to be finalized with Williams, who was the No. 1 ATH in 2018, and the No. 18 player overall. Williams made the decision to transfer to the Ducks over the Beavers in the past 48 hours since Oregon State announced the addition of Williams.

As a 4-star recruit in 2018, Williams was long considered to be a lock for Oregon, but on signing day, he chose to sign with USC in a shock to many. According to Matt Prehm, with 247 Sports, Williams said that he would have been better off signing with the Ducks right away.
