Conference play is finally here, and Oregon will be playing a meaningful game after a couple of weeks of cupcakes. 

Stanford and Oregon have a storied history, with numerous big games that reverberated through the college football landscape in the past decade.

Fourth Quarter 

Herbert sacked for the 4th time of the game, fumbles, but Oregon recovers. 

On 3rd down, Herbert escapes pressure and unloads it deep to Johnson. Incomplete. Off-setting penalties, replay 3rd. 

Oregon to punt, Stanford to start on own 10. 

Jevon Holland comes up with a big INT. Ducks back in business in Stanford territory.

Addison with a nice catch to get near the Stanford 30. Redd takes a screen upfield to get into the Red Zone. 

Herbert with a beautiful pump fake on the screen to leave Breeland wide open, walking into the endzone. 

Oregon leads 21-3.

Stanford springs a nice kick-off return, setting them up around their own 40. 

Cardinal gets into UO territory with a 27-yard catch and run.

Stanford is driving, inside the red zone. 

Oregon with another sack on 3rd down. 38-yard FG attempt is good.

Oregon leads 21-6.

Stanford tries an onside kick, it goes out of bounds. 

Breeland with a nice hurdle on the outside picks up a first down. Oregon looking to score.

Ducks will kick an FG to take a 3-score lead. Nevermind, missed after a bad snap.  

Stanford with a nice start to the drive, but forced to go for it on 4th and 5. 

Conversion is no good. Oregon ball. 

GAME OVER | Oregon wins 21-6

Third Quarter

Oregon picks up a first down with a strike from Herbert to Johnson for 16 yards over the middle. Nearing midfield. 

Ducks to punt after the drive stalled at midfield. Pin the Cardinal on their own 8. 

Stanford picks up a first down, then has back-to-back false start and delay of game penalties. Add an Oregon sack to the mix. 3rd and 28 coming. Cardinal run play. Oregon to receive a punt. 

Ducks pick up a first down, driving near midfield. Can't convert on 3rd and 4 near the 50. Oregon will punt again. Yet to put this game away. 

Stanford gets out of trouble with a nice run from Scarlett. First and 10 at their own 25. More penalties and another punt for Stanford. Rinse, repeat. 

Will this finally be the drive where Oregon puts the game out of reach? 

End 3Q | Oregon leads 14-3

Second Quarter

Stanford starts with the ball deep in their own territory. Cardinal picks up a 1st on 3rd-and-3.

Stanford driving, nearing midfield. Penalty knocks them back to 1st and 25 near their own 20. Stanford to punt. 

Josh Delgado with a first down. CJ Verdell getting a heavy workload. 3rd and 9. 

Bryan Addison makes a man miss, picks up the first down. 

Herbert finds Travis Dye on a screen, and it goes for 24-yards. 

Who else but Breeland? Herbert finds the tight end for a 16-yard TD. 

Oregon leads 14-3. 

Stanford getting back to the running game. First down. 

Cardinal into Oregon territory with another first down. Oregon defense stiffening up, 3rd and 10. Sacked. Oregon picked up a fumble and returned it for a touchdown. The play will be reviewed. Looked like he was down. 

TD called back, Stanford punt. Oregon ball near their own 10 with just over 1:00 to play and 3 timeouts. Herbert time. 

Or not. Ducks seem content to run the ball, run out the clock and go into the half with a 14-3 lead, knowing that they will get the ball back to start the 3Q. 

End 2Q | Oregon leads 14-3.

Herbert: 10-12, 155 yards and 2 TD

First Quarter

Oregon kicks the ball off to Stanford to start the game. 

Stanford has gotten the run going early on, and the Ducks are struggling to shed a few key blocks. Stanford quickly takes the ball into Oregon territory.

Stanford QB KJ Costello appears to have injured his thumb on a pass, where his hand collided with the helmet of an offensive lineman. Stanford ball in the Red Zone. 

Ducks come up with a stop on 3rd and 7, deep in the Red Zone. Stanford settles for a 32-yard FG.

Stanford leads 3-0.

After an early first down, Herbert gets sacked for a loss. 2nd and long for the Ducks. 

Herbert finds Breeland short of the sticks on 3rd and 17. Ducks to punt. 

Oregon gets the defensive possession they need, stopping Stanford on a quick 3-and-out. Ducks to get the ball back. 

Flags down, running into the punter. Also illegal motion. Offsetting penalties, redo 4th down. 

Herbert finds Johnny Johnson III for a 20-yard gain over the middle. Johnson up a little slow. 

Jaylen Redd takes a slant over the middle for an Oregon TD. 36-yards for the score. 

Oregon leads, 7-3.

Stanford continually trying to run the ball up the middle, and the Ducks are finally keying on it. 3rd and 8. Incomplete. Stanford to punt. 

After one first down, Herbert gets sacked on 3rd and 4. Ducks to punt. 

End of 1Q | Oregon leads, 7-3. 

Herbert: 5-for-6, 81 yards, TD

Costello: 2-for-7, 11 yards
