The No. 9 Oregon Ducks defeated the Washington State Cougars 38-24 on Saturday in Eugene. Dan Lanning's squad moved to 6-1 on the year with a 3-1 record in Pac-12 conference play.

Quarterback Bo Nix threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns, while running back Bucky Irving had a career day, scoring three total touchdowns and racking up 180 total yards.

The defense gave up its fair share of yards but showed up when it mattered in big situations, limiting the Cougars to 4-of-14 on third down and sacking quarterback Cameron Ward six times.
