The 2023 NBA Playoffs are underway and there are a number of former Oregon Ducks players in action.

One has been drawing a lot more attention than others lately, and that's Memphis Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks.

Brooks and the Grizzlies defeated the Lakers in Memphis on Wednesday night, taking home a 103-93 win to even the series at 1-1.

The former Duck finished the game with 12 points, shooting 5-of-14 from the floor and knocking down two three-pointers. He also chipped in three assists and grabbed one rebound.

He had multiple back-and-forth exchanges with Lebron James throughout the game as the two battled it out on the hardwood. After the game Brooks was asked about his antics toward James and he doubled down.

"I don't care he's old," Brooks said. He wanted to say something when I got my fourth foul, he should have been saying that earlier on. I poke bears. I don't respect no one until they come and give me 40. I pride myself on what I do is defense and taking on any challenge that's on the board."

James led the Lakers with 28 points on the night, shooting 12-of-23 shooting from the floor. He made only one of his eight three-point shots, but also grabbed 12 rebounds and dished three assists to set up his teammates.

A lot has been made of the way Brooks carries himself in the NBA after rising to stardom with Dana Altman and the Ducks at Oregon from 2014 to 2017.

Opinions aside, he's one of the best former Oregon players in the NBA right now along with Payton Pritchard (Boston Celtics) and Chris Boucher (Toronto Raptors).
