Dallas Wilson, 5-star Oregon Wide Receiver Commit, Expected to Visit Colorado This Weekend

In this story:
There's not a whole lot I can say here other than that this has been back and forth. Wilson informed me on Friday morning that he will be in Boulder this weekend after all.
His school Tampa Bay Tech played on Thursday night, which makes this trip easier to make from a travel standpoint.

All of the recruiting talk right now is about Oregon's 2024 recruiting class. And that's understandable, as Dan Lanning and company work to add to the nation's No. 12 haul according to 247Sports.
But Oregon's 2025 recruiting class is ranked top-five nationally early on, and the class headliner is expected to take a big trip this weekend.
Tampa (Fla.) Bay Tech wide receiver Dallas Wilson, a five-star recruit and the No. 24 player on the 247Sports composite, will visit Colorado this weekend, according to Adam Munsterteiger of BuffStampede, 247's Colorado Buffaloes site.
#TheFamily will be back in Boulder this weekend... #CUBuffs commits @ZycarlLewisJr & @w_jamarice are coming out to Boulder w/ @Qoach_Nick to see Rocky Mountain Showdown.

Wilson committed to the Ducks back on January 17, the same day he received a scholarship offer from former Oregon offensive line coach Adrian Klemm, who has since returned to the NFL ranks to coach on the New England Patriots.
He took his first visit to Eugene in March, making the cross-country trip to follow up committing to Oregon sight unseen.
Since he committed, Dan Lanning and the Ducks have surged in the junior class, adding three more commitments in 2025, headlined by San Diego (Calif.) Lincoln quarterback Akili Smith Jr. Oregon even continued to gain momentum in Wilson's home state, picking up a verbal commitment from Melbourne (Fla.) Eau Gallie interior offensive lineman Chavez 'Sandman' Thompson in May.
Wilson's stock has only continued to rise in the time since he committed to Dan Lanning and company. Offers from schools like Ohio State, Miami, Texas A&M and Michigan all came flooding in, and he earned five-star status on 247Sports last month.
Fans shouldn't panic and say Wilson is wavering in his commitment to the Ducks. After all, he did say Oregon was his dream school.
But this visit to Colorado for the Buffs' rivalry game against Colorado State drives home one point very clearly. Deion Sanders and the Buffs are off to a hot start this season, and it's caught the attention of elite players across the country.
The Ducks open Pac-12 play against the Buffs next weekend in Eugene.
