Dan Lanning and the Ducks just scored another massive commitment on the recruiting trail.

2024 Burley (ID) wide receiver Gatlin Bair has committed to Oregon.

He chose the Ducks from a final two that also included the defending national champion Michigan Wolverines.

"Coach (Dan) Lanning and Junior (Adams) are two incredible guys. I think they do an incredible job and they're going to continue to do an incredible job," Bair said in a recent interview with Ducks Digest. "I think Oregon's going to continue to get better and better."

Bair is listed at 6'2", 195 pounds and was an Adidas All-American selection as a senior. Following a strong showing in San Antonio, he was bumped up to a five-star in the final 2024 rankings from 247Sports.

He's now rated a five-star (0.9800) and ranked the No. 27 player nationally, the No. 6 wide receiver and the No. 1 recruit in Idaho. Bair is the highest-rated recruit to ever come out of the state of Idaho, a state that Oregon has recruited in recent cycles.

Oregon coach Drew Mehringer signed four-star tight end Kenyon Sadiq in the 2023 class from Idaho Falls (ID) Skyline Senior High School and he made some impressive plays last season as a true freshman.

Bair has made a name for himself as one of the top athletes in the country, not only for his stellar play on the football field, but also his blazing speed on the track. He has a personal record of 10.15 seconds in the 100 meters, which he ran as a junior.

With Bair in the fold, Junior Adams has now signed a trio of All-American recruits in the 2024 recruiting class, as Bair joins Ryan Pellum and Jeremiah McClellan, who the Ducks flipped from USC and Ohio State respectively during the early signing period in December.

Bair will take a two-year mission trip to Dallas and is expected to join the Ducks for the 2026 season. His commitment further builds Oregon's tremendous momentum on the recruiting trail ahead of their debut in the Big Ten, and adds a huge speed component to the Ducks, who just added California State record holder Rodrick Pleasant in the 2023 class, who ran a 10.14 in the 100 meters during his high school career.

The 2024 recruiting class was already the best in Oregon program history, and now the Ducks will welcome another five-star player to Eugene.
