2024 Newport (Calif.) Newport Harbor wide receiver Jordan Anderson has been putting in work all offseason.

After transferring from Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan to Newport Harbor, the Oregon Ducks commit has continued to hold his own on both the 7-on-7 and camp circuits.

On Sunday he was named wide receiver MVP at the Rivals Los Angeles camp, which featured top talent from the West Coast and around the country.

Anderson called his shot prior to putting on a show Sunday, Tweeting, "On everything I'm in that one mode they gotta see my today."

The 6-foot, 175-pound wide receiver hauled in 47 passes for 984 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior at Millikan. Production like that, as well as his play during the offseason have resulted in continued attention on the recruiting trail.

While he's still solid in his commitment to Junior Adams and the Ducks, there are a number of schools he'd like to visit.

"I'm gonna get down to Colorado, I'm gonna head back up to SC of course," Anderson told Ducks Digest in a recent interview. "Some schools I wanna check out are Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson."

Anderson committed to Oregon in December of 2022 and is one of two wide receiver commitments for the Ducks in 2024 alongside Tyseer Denmark out of Philadelphia.

He's an important commitment for Lanning to hang on to not only because of his position and his status as a highly-rated recruit, but also because he's the current face of Oregon's recruiting efforts in the talent-rich hotbed of Southern California.

Torres' Take

It's not much of a surprise to see Anderson take home a top honor despite going against some of the top talent in the country, who flew into Los Angeles for the camp.

He's one of the more technically-sound wide receivers that I've see since moving to Southern California and he'll only continue to improve as time goes on. Anderson is a fiery competitor who's also shifty and brings great speed and agility to the table.

The increased attention on the recruiting trail has to be something the Ducks expected and they're continuing to prioritize him with a return trip to Eugene in the works. The 2024 wide receiver haul could get even sweeter if they're able to land Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon standout Xavier Jordan
